I graduated high school in 2005 and have been self-employed ever since. Over the past twenty years I've built and run several businesses, and every one of them taught me the same lesson: hard work, honest communication, and keeping your word are what customers actually remember.
I got into the landscape and snow industry in 2012, helping my brother launch his commercial landscape and snow removal company in the Lexington market. We both came from humble beginnings, and watching him build something real reinforced what I already believed. There was room for the same kind of dependable service closer to home.
Founded in Elizabethtown, Built for the Region
In 2016 I founded Ground Pros to serve Elizabethtown, Hardin County, and the surrounding area. From day one the company was built on integrity, responsiveness, and long-term relationships rather than simply being the lowest bidder. What started as a local operation has grown into a regional provider that commercial and industrial clients count on across the Louisville and Elizabethtown markets, Southern Indiana, the Cincinnati region, and the Nashville market. As we've expanded, we've held onto the same principles we started with: answer the phone, respond quickly, communicate honestly, and deliver quality work every single time.
A True Family Operation
My wife, Katelyn, joined the business in 2019 and is now central to our day-to-day operations. Together we lead our team, take care of our customers, and raise our family here in Hardin County. When we aren't managing properties or preparing for the next snow event, you'll usually find us on the family farm in Glendale, where Katelyn is a fourth-generation farmer and we raise beef cattle. Farming reinforces the same values that run our business: work hard, plan ahead, and take pride in doing things the right way.
Culture Matters
Giving back matters to me too. I serve as the head football coach at East Hardin Middle School, where our program is built on one belief: Culture Matters. We teach accountability, discipline, teamwork, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching. Those same values drive everything we do at Ground Pros.
